I ordered 4 pairs of shoes from Jane Closet with their claim to be and orthopedic/podiatrist designed shoe. These shoes were ordered because of the extreme daily pain I deal with in my feet. After writing numerous times in a two month span because I paid for a product I didn’t receive and the only response I got was an emailed receipt of my order. I didn’t pay to get a receipt, I paid to receive shoes to help with my pain. THIS COMPANY JANE CLOSET IS THE BIGGEST SCAM I HAVE EVER ORDERED FROM and now looking at reviews everywhere there are endless complaints from people with the same issues.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes from the website janecloset.com and had to finally request a refund (which I still have not received) for products the site claimed to be selling but never mailed. On June 10, 2020, I placed an order for 2 pairs of shoes, the order number was 915246-SCS. On the 10th of June the Jane Closet online business charged my credit card $59.93 and sent me an email (using the email address [email protected]) claiming that they were getting my order ready to ship. Ten days later when I still had not received an email with a tracking number, I reached out to the business requesting an expected shipping date. They responded to my email with the following response, "With due respect, I would like to bring it to your knowledge that your order is almost ready for shipping. Kindly note that it may take 3-5 days for your tracking number to be available, due to high volume of stocks that need packing, stocking and shipping. We will send a shipping confirmation email to the email address that you provided previous, so I suggest that you check your inbox from time to time."
Six days later I still had not received the promised email with a tracking number. Consequently I became extremely suspicious of a possible scam. I reached out to the business a second time and requested that they cancel my order and refund my money. This time they responded with, "Thank you for your recent purchase with ?Jane Closet. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re leaving us! May I ask why you don’t want our products anymore?"
I’m reporting this online business to the Better Business Bureau because I don’t believe they actually have the products they claim to be selling. I believe this is a scam to get a persons credit card information, charge the credit card, and make whatever excuses they can to pretend they are going to ship something they actually don’t have to ship. When you try to cancel your order with this fake company, they pretend like they actually did business with you when they actually stole money from you with no intention of shipping what they claimed to have sold you.
